REPERTOIRE
Over his long career, Leslie Howard has performed a vast array of solo piano music, including the complete works of Beethoven and Liszt, all the major Russian literature, and a very broad range of classical, Romantic and 20th century works moving far beyond the standard concert repertory. He has participated in hundreds of recitals of chamber music and song, and has kept his hand in with conducting and occasional organ-playing (sadly letting slip his work on the oboe!). His solo programmes have always been renowned for a nice balance between familiar masterpieces and things adventurous, striking and thought-provoking.
